Chronico is a service to protect your creative works. By embedding an invisible "digital watermark" into your images and posting them to Bluesky, you can prove the authenticity of your creations.
Target Audience: Creators
- Visit chronico.snow-sheep.com
- Click "Sign Up"
- Sign up with your Google account (we recommend using an account you don't use for daily activities)
- Go to My Page
- Enter your Bluesky User ID (e.g.,
alice.bsky.social) - Enter your Bluesky App Password
- Click "Save"
Target Audience: Creators
- Go to the "Post Your Work" section on My Page
- Enter your post text
- Select an image file (up to 3MB)
- Click "Post"
- 🔄 Watermark Embedding - An invisible watermark is added to the image
- 🦋 Post to Bluesky - Automatically posts to Bluesky
- 📄 Provenance Page Creation - Generates a proof page for your work
When complete, a provenance page for your work will be displayed.
Target Audience: Creators & Third Parties
- Go to the "Verify Watermark" page
- Upload the image you want to check
- Click "Start Verification"
- ✅ Watermark Found → Link to provenance page is shown
- ❌ No Watermark → Image was not posted via Chronico
⚠️ No Provenance → Watermark found, but no data available
Q: What image formats are supported? A: JPEG, PNG, and WebP formats are supported.
Q: Is the watermark visible? A: No, the watermark is invisible. The appearance of the image is almost unchanged (there may be slight degradation).
Q: Will the watermark remain if the image is edited? A: Yes, the watermark is robust against some compression and editing.
Q: Can I delete my posted works? A: The provenance page remains as public information, but you can delete the post from Bluesky as usual.
Q: Is there a fee? A: No, it is free to use. If there is demand and maintenance costs increase, donations or paid plans may be considered in the future.
You can change the appearance from the theme button at the top right of the screen. 32 themes are available.

- Google account email address (for sign-in/login functionality)

- To improve the quality and fix bugs of the App
- To provide the App's functions
