My first Linux experience.

My first experience with Linux was Linux Mint, i tried it with Virtualbox. I first installed Linux Mint after watching this video, i got Virtualbox and the Linux Mint .iso file. I have created a Virtual machine. Booted into the installer, followed the steps, and then booted into the system after creating a user. It was slow due to my not powerful hardware, it is listed below.

Specs of my computer:

Virtual machine specs:

  • 15 GB storage
  • 4GB RAM
  • 2 cores

After trying Linux i uninstalled Virtualbox & deleted the .vdi file of the virtual machine and forgot about Linux for a while.
