Detailed guide to Root Xiaomi Redmi Note4

Follow this guide and all things would be just fine.

####Brerquested

  • Unlock Bootloader
  • USB DATA cable (the one that came with your device)
  • Enable USB Debugging - Goto Settings > Additional settings > Developer options > USB Debugging - Enable (If you have not activated Developer options, then Goto Settings > About phone > tap MIUI version 7 times > You are now a developer)
  • Battery is charged at least 50%.

####1-Using Flasher

  • install minimal_adb_fastboot_v1.4.2_setup.exe on your windows PC which you have already downloaded.
  • Copy both SuperSu and no-verity-opt-encrypt-5.1.zip to your phone internal storage.
  • Plug your device in an ON-STATE via USB cable to your PC/Laptop.
  • Download and extract, Run as administrator and execute FLASHER TOOLKIT MidoV2.bat.
  • Next, you see the menu for what you want to do, as mentioned on the highlight, choose Menu #1 to flash Official TWRP 3.1.1-0 and follow the on-screen instructions. ####2- Once the flashing is done successfully, you will reach the TWRP screen asking you if you want to allow system modifications. By swiping right, you will trigger dm-verity, and if you don't follow the next step you will be unable to boot! Hence, to root your device you need to follow the rest of these steps, then it is safe to swipe right and enable modifications. ####3- Now you will need to install SuperSu and no-verity-opt-encrypt-5.1.zip ####4- Check Root Use Root Checker to check whether you have Rooted your device properly.

Follow these steps if You were so unlucky and you fucked up and the rom is damaged by any mean

###Fastboot Update Note: A Windows PC/laptop will be needed for the following steps. Make sure that your device is fully charged or has enough power for this process. This guide will help you update your device to the latest MIUI ROM version. All user data will be purged in this process. Please back up your data and think twice before proceeding.

step 1

Download MIUI ROM Flashing Tool (Size: 46 MB).

Download the Rom.Redmi Note 4 Qualcomm Latest Global Stable Version Fastboot File Download

  • Turn off the device. Press the Volume–Down key and the Power button at the same time to enter Fastboot mode. Then connect the device to the Windows PC/laptop via a micro USB cable.

  • Double click on the downloaded ROM file to decompress it. Open the file folder for the decompressed ROM pack.

step 5

  • Decompress the MIUI ROM flashing tool downloaded in Step 1, and double click on it to install (if there is security warning, select 'Run').
  • After installation is completed, open MiFlash.exe and browse the ROM file folder path.
  • Click on the first button to Refresh, and MiFlash should automatically recognize the device.
  • Then click the second button to flash the ROM file to the device.

  • Wait until the progress bar inside MiFlash turns fully green, which means the ROM has been successfully installed. Then your device should automatically boot to the new version.

  • please download Mi PC Suite (After Mi PC Suite is installed, make sure that your phone is in fastboot mode, connect your phone to a computer, and select the correct ROM file to flash)
