Berlin's Kitas with addresses and emails (csv file with ";" as separator)
We can make this file beautiful and searchable if this error is corrected: It looks like row 3 should actually have 1 column, instead of 4 in line 2.

Symantec distrust impact on the webpki

Sample size: 1236617 HTTPS sites from Cisco Umbrella and Alexa top1m (total of 1868635 sites but 632018 don't support HTTPS)

Distrusted in Firefox 60: 21089 but 7382 of those certs expire before 60 is released so only 13707 need action (1.1% of HTTPS sites, 0.73% of all sites)

Distrusted in Firefox 63: 155847 but 81198 of those certs expire before 63 is released

List all undefined CSS classes

This script attempts to identify all CSS classes mentioned in HTML but not defined in the stylesheets.
In order to use it, just run it in the DevTools console (or add it to DevTools Snippets and run it from there).
Note that this script requires browser to support `fetch` and some ES6 features (fat arrow, Promises, Array.from, Set). You can transpile it to ES5 here: https://babeljs.io/repl/ .
Known limitations:
- it won't be able to take into account some external stylesheets (if CORS isn't set up)
- it will produce false negatives for classes that are mentioned in the comments.

Using synonyms in Elasticsearch

We create an index with:

  • two filters: synonyms_expand and synonyms_contract
  • two analyzers: synonyms_expand and synonyms_contract
  • three text fields:
    • text_1 uses the synonyms_expand analyzer at index and search time
    • text_2 uses the synonyms_expand analyzer at index time, but the standard analyzer at search time
    • text_3 uses the synonyms_contract analyzer at index and search time
