PewPros Offer Video - Production Breakdown with Timed Segments & Visual Cues

PewPros Offer Video — Production Breakdown

Total Runtime: 8–12 minutes
Format: VO-first, then visuals
Style: Sales video with demos, talking head, motion graphics

SEGMENT 1: HOOK & CREDIBILITY

Duration: 0:00 – 0:45 (~45 sec)

Script

If you're a firearms instructor who's serious about building a real business — not just teaching the occasional class, but creating consistent, scalable income from your expertise — I want to show you something.

My name is Jim Hankins. I'm a USCCA and NRA certified instructor. My wife Doreen and I have been in this industry for over 18 years. We've owned a gun store, managed a range, taught tens of thousands of students, and we literally wrote the book on firearms instructor marketing.

And after all of that, we built PewPros — because nothing that existed was built for people like us.

Visual Cues

Timecode Visual Notes
0:00–0:08 B-roll: range footage, students training Hook attention
0:08–0:12 Talking head: Jim "I want to show you something"
0:12–0:25 Split: Jim talking + credentials overlay USCCA logo, NRA logo, "18 years"
0:25–0:35 B-roll: gun store, range, book cover Proof of experience
0:35–0:45 Talking head: Jim "We built PewPros" — conviction moment

VO Notes

  • Confident, direct tone
  • Slight pause after "I want to show you something"
  • Emphasize "we literally wrote the book"

SEGMENT 2: THE PROBLEM

Duration: 0:45 – 2:00 (~75 sec)

Script

Here's what I see happen to instructors all the time.

You're talented. You're certified. Your students love you. But running the actual business side of things? That's where it gets messy.

Maybe you've got a website — or maybe you don't. You're taking payments through Venmo or Square or something you duct-taped together. You've got Zoom for virtual classes, but it's completely disconnected from your registration process, so you're manually sending links and chasing down students. You want to send email follow-ups but it takes forever. You'd love to sell eLearning courses but there's no good place to host them. And a mobile app to manage all of it from your phone? Forget it.

So you end up with a mess. Four tools. Five logins. Subscriptions adding up — and none of it actually talking to each other.

Running a serious training business requires serious tools. Most instructors slowly subscribe to these one at a time — a scheduler here, an email tool there, a payment processor, an LMS — each one $20 to $100 a month. Before long, you've got a stack of monthly bills just to run your business on tools that were never built for what you do.

Visual Cues

Timecode Visual Notes
0:45–0:50 Talking head: Jim Empathetic, knowing look
0:50–1:05 Chaotic montage: Venmo, Square, Zoom, email Quick cuts, slightly overwhelming
1:05–1:15 Screen recording: manual email, copy-paste links Relatable pain
1:15–1:25 Animation: tool logos piling up Visualize the mess
1:25–1:40 Animation: login screens multiplying "Five logins"
1:40–2:00 Talking head: Jim "Tools that were never built for what you do"

VO Notes

  • Empathetic, not condescending
  • Speed up slightly during the "mess" list
  • Land hard on "never built for what you do"

SEGMENT 3: COST OF STATUS QUO

Duration: 2:00 – 3:15 (~75 sec)

Script

Let's actually look at that stack.

A professional website: $30–50/month. Email marketing: $30–100/month. Zoom: $15/month. An online booking and scheduling tool: $30–60/month. An LMS to deliver eLearning: $50–200/month. A CRM to manage students: $50–150/month. Automated SMS and follow-up: $25–50/month. Payment processing: $25–50/month.

Even at the low end, you're looking at $250 to $600 every single month — for generic tools that were never designed for firearms instructors, never integrated with each other, and give you zero advantage over the next guy.

We felt this ourselves. We sat down one day and added up what we were spending to run Detroit Arms — classes, virtual events, follow-up, email, the website — and the number was painful.

And every time another instructor asked us what tools to use, we felt terrible pointing them toward that same pile of bills.

So we spent over a year building something different.

Visual Cues

Timecode Visual Notes
2:00–2:05 Talking head: Jim "Let's actually look" — lean in
2:05–2:45 Motion graphic: cost stack Each item appears with price, running total counter
2:45–2:55 Total reveals: "$250–600/mo" Red, bold, painful
2:55–3:05 Talking head: Jim Personal story — Detroit Arms
3:05–3:15 Talking head: Jim "Over a year building something different"

VO Notes

  • Methodical pacing during the list (let numbers land)
  • Personal, vulnerable on "the number was painful"
  • Resolve/determination on "building something different"

SEGMENT 4: INTRODUCE PEWPROS

Duration: 3:15 – 3:45 (~30 sec)

Script

PewPros is the all-in-one platform built specifically for firearms instructors. Not a generic tool with a tactical font slapped on it. A platform designed from the ground up by instructors who lived the problem — and built the solution they wished they'd had from day one.

Here's everything you get when you join PewPros.

Visual Cues

Timecode Visual Notes
3:15–3:25 PewPros logo reveal Clean, confident animation
3:25–3:40 Talking head: Jim Pride, not hype
3:40–3:45 Transition: "Here's everything you get" Text on screen, segue to demo

VO Notes

  • Slight smile on "tactical font slapped on it"
  • Confident authority on "from the ground up"

SEGMENT 5: FEATURE WALKTHROUGH — PROFILE

Duration: 3:45 – 4:30 (~45 sec)

Script

Your Professional Instructor Profile

When a student searches for training in your area, they need to find you, trust you, and book with you — all in one place. Your PewPros profile gives you that. Your credentials, your bio, your class listings, student reviews — everything they need to say yes.

It even integrates directly with the USCCA Instructor Portal, so USCCA members searching for certified instructors can find you where they're already looking.

Visual Cues

Timecode Visual Notes
3:45–3:50 Title card: "Instructor Profile"
3:50–4:15 Screen recording: PewPros profile page Scroll through, highlight sections
4:15–4:30 USCCA integration callout Logo + connection visual

VO Notes

  • Warm, inviting tone
  • Emphasize "find you, trust you, book with you"

SEGMENT 6: FEATURE WALKTHROUGH — EVENTS

Duration: 4:30 – 5:30 (~60 sec)

Script

Event Management — Every Type of Class You Teach

In-person. Virtual via Zoom. Hybrid — where half the class is in the room and half are on Zoom. And eLearning on-demand.

Students register, pay, and get everything they need — all in one place. No manual link-sending. No chasing payments. No confusion.

Zoom is built right in. That means your virtual classroom is already set up. You don't need a separate Zoom account. You don't need to manually create meetings and paste links into emails. It just works.

And hybrid classes? That's something most instructors have never even tried — because they never had the right tool. Teach 10 students in your range and 30 more from across your state in the same session. Same prep time. Multiplied revenue.

Visual Cues

Timecode Visual Notes
4:30–4:35 Title card: "Event Management"
4:35–4:50 Screen recording: event creation Show in-person, virtual, hybrid options
4:50–5:05 Screen recording: student registration flow Quick, seamless
5:05–5:15 Zoom integration demo Built-in, no extra steps
5:15–5:30 Split screen: range class + Zoom participants Hybrid visual — powerful

VO Notes

  • Energy picks up here — this is exciting
  • Pause before "It just works"
  • "Multiplied revenue" with emphasis

SEGMENT 7: FEATURE WALKTHROUGH — ELEARNING

Duration: 5:30 – 6:15 (~45 sec)

Script

eLearning — Earn While You Sleep

This is the one that changes everything for a lot of instructors.

You create a course once. Students purchase it and access it anytime — 2pm or 2am. You collect revenue automatically. No class to schedule. No seats to fill. No Zoom to host.

If you've never sold eLearning before and you're not sure what to teach — we've got you covered. We've created white-labeled content you can sell as your own, right out of the gate. Classes like Non-Physical Self Defense, Real Estate Agent Safety, Travel Safety, Beginner's Guide to the Range, Legal Considerations for Gun Owners, and more. You can be earning from eLearning before you've built a single course yourself.

Visual Cues

Timecode Visual Notes
5:30–5:35 Title card: "eLearning" Moon/clock icon
5:35–5:50 Screen recording: course creation
5:50–6:00 Animation: sales notifications popping in "2am" visual
6:00–6:15 Screen recording: white-label library Scroll through available courses

VO Notes

  • "Earn while you sleep" — let it land
  • Excitement about white-label option
  • Reassuring tone for "not sure what to teach"

SEGMENT 8: FEATURE WALKTHROUGH — GROUP SALES

Duration: 6:15 – 7:00 (~45 sec)

Script

Group Sales — The Revenue Stream Most Instructors Don't Know Exists

This one is new, and it's a big deal.

Group Sales lets you sell bulk access to organizations — businesses, churches, shooting ranges, employers, HOAs — anyone who needs to train a group and doesn't want to manage individual enrollments.

Here's how it works: You create a group offer and set your price per seat. A buyer purchases 10, 50, even 500 seats in a single transaction. You get paid. They distribute access to their members using a shareable link or email invitation. They manage their group. You just teach.

Think about what that means. One conversation with a local business results in a $2,000 transaction. One partnership with a range means recurring group sales every quarter. This isn't a side feature — it's an entirely new revenue channel most instructors have never had access to before.

Visual Cues

Timecode Visual Notes
6:15–6:20 Title card: "Group Sales"
6:20–6:35 Screen recording: group offer creation
6:35–6:45 Animation: bulk purchase flow 50 seats → payment → distribution
6:45–7:00 Talking head: Jim "$2,000 transaction" — look them in the eye

VO Notes

  • "Big deal" with conviction
  • Slow down for the workflow explanation
  • "$2,000 transaction" — don't rush it

SEGMENT 9: FEATURE WALKTHROUGH — AUTOMATION

Duration: 7:00 – 7:30 (~30 sec)

Script

Automated Follow-Up — Set It and Forget It

Here's a question: what happens to a student after they take your class?

For most instructors — nothing. No follow-up. No reminder about the next class. No promotion when something new launches. That's thousands of dollars in repeat business quietly walking out the door.

PewPros handles this for you automatically. Class reminders go out before events. Post-class follow-ups go out after. Future promotions go to your student list without you lifting a finger. You set it up once and it runs your student nurture on autopilot.

Visual Cues

Timecode Visual Notes
7:00–7:05 Title card: "Automated Follow-Up"
7:05–7:15 Animation: student leaves → nothing happens Sad trombone energy
7:15–7:30 Screen recording: automation setup Emails going out automatically

VO Notes

  • Rhetorical question — pause for effect
  • "Thousands of dollars" — weight to it
  • "Autopilot" with satisfaction

SEGMENT 10: FEATURE WALKTHROUGH — EMAIL, SMS, APP

Duration: 7:30 – 8:15 (~45 sec)

Script

Email Marketing Built In

You don't need a separate Mailchimp or Constant Contact account. Email marketing is built right into PewPros. Build your student list. Send class announcements. Blast out promotions. AI is built into the email system, so you can generate content for your campaigns in seconds.

Chat & SMS — Stay Connected On the Go

Students have questions. Leads need a response. PewPros gives you integrated chat and SMS so you can communicate with students and prospects from one place — even from your phone.

Your Mobile App — Run Your Business From Anywhere

The mobile app puts your student roster, upcoming classes, messages, and revenue dashboard right in your pocket. Manage your business from the range. From the road. From your couch on a Sunday while your eLearning keeps selling.

Visual Cues

Timecode Visual Notes
7:30–7:45 Screen recording: email composer + AI Quick demo

SEGMENT 11: THE BOOK TIE-IN

Duration: 8:15 – 8:30 (~15 sec)

Script

  • "What actually works" — earned confidence

SEGMENT 12: THE MATH

Duration: 8:30 – 9:00 (~30 sec)

Script

Let's go back to that monthly software stack.

Website. Email. Zoom. Booking. eLearning. CRM. SMS. Payments.

We already showed you that's $250 to $600 a month in tools that weren't built for you and don't work together.

PewPros replaces all of it — in one platform, built specifically for firearms instructors — for one straightforward monthly price.

Visual Cues

Timecode Visual Notes
8:30–8:45 Motion graphic: cost stack returns Same animation as before
8:45–8:55 Stack collapses → PewPros logo Satisfying replacement
8:55–9:00 Price reveal (or "See pricing at PewPros.com") Clean, confident

VO Notes

  • Quick list, then pause
  • "One straightforward monthly price" — relief

SEGMENT 13: LIFESTYLE CLOSE

Duration: 9:00 – 9:45 (~45 sec)

Script

Let me show you what a week could actually look like.

Monday morning — three eLearning course sales came in overnight while you were sleeping. $147 before your first cup of coffee.

Wednesday evening — you host a virtual Zoom class. Twelve students from across the state. $1,200 in your pocket, and you taught from your living room.

Saturday — your CPL class at the range. Ten students, $1,500.

Sunday — you're home with your family. Your eLearning is still selling.

Nearly $3,000 in one week. From the expertise you already have. From tools that run while you're not watching.

That's what PewPros is built to make possible.

Visual Cues

Timecode Visual Notes
9:00–9:05 Talking head: Jim Lean in — "let me show you"
9:05–9:15 B-roll: coffee, phone notification Monday morning
9:15–9:25 B-roll: living room, laptop, Zoom Wednesday evening
9:25–9:30 B-roll: range, students Saturday
9:30–9:40 B-roll: family, relaxed Sunday
9:40–9:45 Talking head: Jim "$3,000 in one week" — pride

VO Notes

  • Paint the picture — warm, aspirational
  • Real numbers, real scenarios
  • "That's what PewPros is built to make possible" — land it

SEGMENT 14: URGENCY

Duration: 9:45 – 10:15 (~30 sec)

Script

Here's something worth thinking about.

Every week you're not running virtual classes, students in your state are going somewhere else — or staying home because they can't find training they can actually access. Every month without eLearning, that passive income isn't happening. Every organization you haven't approached with a Group offer is a deal someone else could close first.

This isn't manufactured scarcity. It's just the math. The instructors who build this system first in their local market will be the ones students find, trust, and keep coming back to. That window is open right now.

Visual Cues

Timecode Visual Notes
9:45–10:00 Talking head: Jim Direct, honest
10:00–10:15 Map visual: local market, competition Window of opportunity

VO Notes

  • Not pushy — truthful
  • "That window is open right now" — urgency without hype

SEGMENT 15: CTA
