Dylan Avery Post-Grad Job Search Action Plan Template
# Dylan Avery Post-Grad Job Search Action Plan Template
### Job Search Plan:
1. I am going to spend 4 hours every day researching local companies, and doing cold outreach. I am also going to spend 4 hours a day coding.
This includes a daily CSS challenge to become a better designer, finding Open Source to work on, learning Ethereum and Blockchain for better job prospects,
HouseKeeping Repos, computer science learning like Runtime w/ Aaaron Greenspan, Data Structures, and Browser, and going over Mod1 an Mod 2
project that we did not get to do in our cohort.
2. I would like to receive an offer by no later than July 1st.
3. My weekly goals are to do 1 mentoring session with me as mentor, 1 mock interview, 3-5 meetups, and 2-3 coffee dates.
My month goal is to do 1-2 job interviews with at least 1 week of prep for each.
### 2: Longterm Career Plan:
1. I would like to see a lot of upward mobility. I want to be doing more lecturing and more teaching. I want to have some ownwership over a product. I would like to be
a JavaScript master and a member of the Ethereum community. I want to be earning double what I did during my first dev job.
2. I will be an integral member of both the Denver/Boulder tech community, and the business community as a whole. I will also have a foot
in the international JavaScript and tech community. I will be a valuable employee with the ability to work on Blockchain.
3. I never want my job to be solely managerial. I would like to be doing important work, with major implications, but I dont just want to be "the boss".
### Open Source Project
1. I would like to find something in the smart waste technology realm, or technology to help homelessness. I have looked into this already, but
would like to see if there is some Denver based open source in this area, instead of the Bay area stuff ive been looking at.
I do have a prospect of working on "Food Cowboy" with Joe Sumpter out of Atlanta/Baltimore.
