How to Generate & Use Private Keys using OpenSSL's Command Line Tool

These commands generate and use private keys in unencrypted binary (not Base64 “PEM”) PKCS#8 format. The PKCS#8 format is used here because it is the most interoperable format when dealing with software that isn't based on OpenSSL.

Basic Steps

Clarify and agree on the scope of the system

User cases (description of sequences of events that, taken together, lead to a system doing something useful)
- Who is going to use it?
- How are they going to use it?

In host:

Go to PHPStorm Settings > Project settings > PHP > Servers
Add server with following parameters:
- Name: vagrant (same as serverName= in debug script)
- Host, port: set vagrant box IP and port
- Debugger: Xdebug
- [v] Use path mappings
- Map your project root in host to relative dir in guest
