Bo is a software development student in an intensive full stack web development program at Ada Developers Academy. Recently Bo worked on custom JSON-based REST API, using Ruby on Rails, and got to work with a pair-coding partner to practice test driven development. Currently Bo is learning Javascript using jQuery, Underscore, and Backbone.

Before coming to Ada, Bo had a successful career as a hairstylist on Capitol Hill. Not only has she made countless Seattle denizens look good, she also designed web sites and marketing materials for her salons. Bo earned a bachelor's degree in mathematics from the University of Washington, where she focused on probability and mathematical modeling. Right now she is focused on coding.
