HoN on MacOS (Sikarugir)

Setup Sikarugir

Follow Installation

Create wrapper

  • Download latest Wine Crossover engine (WSxxWineCXxx.x.x)
  • Click update wrapper
  • Create blank wrapper, name it Hon
  • Click view wrapper in finder and open it

HoN

Install HoN

  • Select DXMT
  • Click install software and select HoNSetup.exe
  • Follow installation steps and dont change any of the default
  • Unclick start and then finish

Running HoN: Reborn

  • Set the Windows app: path to C:/Program Files/Heroes of Newerth/launcher.exe if it is not already set
  • Click test run to make sure it works, otherwise start via the executable added to Applications
  • If you want to make changes you can repoen the Configure.app at a later stage by clicking show package contents on Hon

Performance

  • Base M4 Pro 16" ~ 120fps
