Configuration to access Raspberry Pi from anywhere with UPnP port forwarding

Access Raspberry Pi from anywhere

Dynamic DNS

We need to use so called Dynamic DNS (DDNS) to create and dynamically update a mapping between a chosen domain name and an “external” IP address of our Raspberry Pi (i.e. router IP address).

  • Look for a DDNS provider.
  • Register a new user account.
  • Choose a desire domain name.
  • Configure it on router.

A hook for WHMCS which marks invoices which have received payment as paid, where the WHMCS system doesn't automatically mark them paid. I found that if manually associating a transaction with an invoice number in WHMCS, the invoice is not marked as paid even when there is zero total remaining. This fixes that.

function wb_mark_zero_invoices_paid(){
//get all unpaid invoices
$unpaid_invoices = Capsule::table('tblinvoices')->where('status', 'Unpaid')->get();
foreach( $unpaid_invoices as $inv ){

An example payment gateway module to integrate WHMCS with Paddle

Create a private fork of a public repository

The repository for the assignment is public and Github does not allow the creation of private forks for public repositories.

The correct way of creating a private frok by duplicating the repo is documented here.

For this assignment the commands are:

  1. Create a bare clone of the repository. (This is temporary and will be removed so just do it wherever.)

git clone --bare git@github.com:usi-systems/easytrace.git
