Getting Discord token for rdircd

Requirements:

  • Chromium-based browser (Using Edge in this example)[^1]

Tip

Discord employs heuristics to detect suspicious activity. If you use rdircd on a remote machine, especially one located in a different country than your own, it is recommended to temporarily connect your browser through the remote machine while obtaining the Discord token. This can be done easily by configuring an SSH Tunnel+SOCKS proxy or setting up a personal VPN (ex. WireGuard).

Get the token:

  1. Open an InPrivate/Incognito window.
  2. Navigate to https://discord.com/app.
