============
Profile
----------
I strive to be an asset on any team. I'm a supportive and enthusiastic team-player who prioritizes clear communication, as well as streamlining processes to effectively tackle and conquer project issues. I always take ownership of critical project features.
Education
---------
2016-2017
: **Bachelors, Economics**; University of Washington Tacoma
Experience
----------
As a self-taught developer who now has startup experience, I have a multifaceted range of skills and experiences to draw from:
* VideoFit, Inc. - Bellevue, WA - iOS Developer - August 2017 - Present:
* Responsible for converting InVision prototype into code, as well as consulting with product owner on
pros and cons of some app features to create best user experience.
* Built solid communication skills working in small team, always ensuring dev team was on same page to
help streamline daily tasks.
* Played pivotal role in designing the app’s media library, and login system. Both features were critical and
I ended up delivering them a week early.
* The App Shop - Seattle, WA - iOS Developer - December 2016 - July 2017:
* Sharpened my skills in both Objective C and Swift languages, proving myself as a versatile developer.
* Followed Agile methodology and met deadlines for features and test flights.
* Freelance iOS Developer - January 2016 - December 2016:
* Learned how to communicate with clients and work remotely.
* Worked hard to deliver results to client in timely manner.
* Designed apps from the ground up, starting with sketches and logo design, to developing features, all the way to deployment.
Technical Experience
--------------------
Side Projects: My side projects range over various skills, mostly concentrated in iOS but have done some projects in other languages as well
* Smack - A Slack clone: In this project I built out a functioning chat app that functioned like Slack! User could create channels and join rooms. Made use of sockets for real-time communication.
* iMorse - This project is quite unique in that it makes use of the iPhone's flashlight (torch) to signal in morse code, can take user input and convert to flashes. Very handy survival tool.
* Snake - Small Java project I did, just recreated a popular game known as snake. Learned basic game mechanics and user interface design with Java.
Programming Languages
: **Swift, Objective C, Python, React Native, HTML, CSS**
Basic knowledge of: **Node.js**, **C#**, **Java**, **Android**
