Clever Sheets — A Roll-and-Write Dice Game for 1–4 Players

Welcome to Clever Sheets! This is a randomized score sheet for a strategic dice game where you roll, pick, and place dice across five unique colored areas to rack up the highest score. Each sheet is generated from a seed, so every game is different — but share the seed with friends and everyone plays on the exact same layout.

How it works: Over 4–6 rounds, the active player rolls 6 dice and picks up to 3 to place on their sheet, one at a time. After each pick, all dice showing a lower value get set aside onto the "silver platter." When the active player is done, every other player picks one die from the platter — so everyone stays involved on every turn.

Five areas, five different puzzles. Each colored section has its own rules — Blue wants alternating odd and even values, Purple needs ascending numbers, Pink needs descending, Red requires two-dice combos that hit a target sum, and Orange multiplies your values by different weights. You write or check off cells to score points in each area.

Bonuses chain together. Filling certain cells earns you rerolls, +1 tokens, free entries in other areas, or foxes. These bonuses can cascade — one free entry might trigger another bonus, and another after that.

Foxes reward balance. At the end of the game, each fox you've collected multiplies your lowest area score. Neglect any one color and it'll drag your total down, so smart play means spreading your attention across the whole sheet.

Using this app: Tap any cell to fill it (rules are enforced automatically). Use the buttons at the top to generate a new sheet, share your seed, undo moves, or toggle rule hints. The resource circles at the top track your rerolls and +1 tokens — tap them to mark as spent. A good score is around 200–250 points; over 300 is excellent.
