# How to configure MS Teams in Elgato Stream Deck Software

1. Select the "..." menu button next to your profile icon in Teams

2. Select "Settings"

3. Select the tab labeled "Privacy"
4. Scroll down to the bottom on the right side of the window and select "Manage API"

5. Select the "Enable API" toggle
6. Select the "Generate" button
7. Copy the contents of the the text box. It will be a random combination of letters and numbers with `-`s inbetween.

8. Open the stream deck software
9. Drag and drop a Teams action (e.g., Leave, Camera, etc.) to an empty space in on your deck
10. Paste the API token you copied from step 7 into the API token box
